CCLO

As part of our work in the California Coalition for Worker Power (CCWP), KIWA founded the California Center for Labor Organizing (CCLO) to fill pivotal gaps in the workforce development infrastructure for worker organizing statewide. CCLO brings together career organizers and university professors to carry out 4-week organizer training programs for selected cohorts of entry and mid-level organizers. In doing so, we seek to support the long-term leadership of organizers across California and strengthen career pipelines for college students and other young people in the state seeking positions in labor organizing.
